Matthew Wick, MD

Family Medicine Physician

Although my undergraduate degree is in electrical and computer engineering, I decided to pursue a more humane career in medicine.  I enjoy being able to know and do a little about a lot of things, so family medicine was a perfect fit in that way.  I received an Air Force scholarship for medical school, and my repayment began with transfer to Dyess Air Force Base, moving to Abilene from Pittsburgh, PA.  My wife was able to secure a professorship in economics at ACU, we fell in love with the community and decided to stay when I separated from the military.  We are raising our family of 4 children and enjoying this West Texas life.

Annie Drachenberg, MD

Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Drachenberg is thrilled to be in Abilene, the town where she spent her college years, met her husband, and now hopes to serve alongside a community dedicated to helping others. It has long been her dream to follow in the footsteps of a hero of the small town she grew up in, the local family doctor in Belton, Texas. With the current complicated medical system, she believes that high quality primary care is still the key to guiding patients through the system to better health utilizing our knowledge of current medical technology as well as common sense medical practices. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her husband and 2 children outdoors camping or gardening.
